It’s a big announcement!
Tomorrow, Frontier is expected to announce a bunch of new routes across the country, similar to their big announcement in July 2017. I’m particularly excited because KISP is supposed to get some new routes as part of this.
A Frontier Airlines spokesman said the RDU expansion announcement event Thursday would be one of 15 across the country – representing a major growth move by the firm.
EDIT: Frontier has just announced 35 new routes with 4 new destinations!
The new cities are Myrtle Beach, SC (KMYR), Branson, MO (KBKG), Birmingham, AL (KBHM), and Savannah, GA (KSAV).
I’m very excited because ISP is getting nonstops to San Juan and Myrtle Beach!!
Isn’t this likely especially with all those new aircraft orders?
Yep, that’s probably one of the main reasons why they’re expanding like wildfire recently.
maybe some international routes. I’m hoping for some new routes from KBNA and KMSY!
I’ve heard something about KSAN and KLAS being included with the announcement. I’ll try to find the links
I’m excited for ISP though!’
No one tagged me in this? -.-
Lol but seriously YAAAAAY! I freaking love this airline. The more they expand the bigger my heart gets. Be still my beating heart! 😍😍
How many new routes are planned for Denver, if any?
Looking forward to this announcement. Hoping to see a new route or two out of BDL.
Hmm, I see a potential growth of Frontier airlines at my local airport, KDSM.
I have a felling that one of those airports on that list will be KMKE.
Hopefully nothing is added to Charlotte.
I hope it brings more competition in SAN, we need more airlines ‘bulking’ up if you will. We just need more space…
Why do you not want them at Charlotte?
I believe there starting flights to Little Rock as well
So apparently we have expansions to be added to:
As per social media.
This is amazing! What a great move by Frontier! I will be sure to try them out sometime. Hopefully they will add more routes out of DFW.
The way Frontier is operating is interesting, the airports they are expanding into are relatively untouched by the big four US carriers. (with a few exceptions)
New Routes are up on Frontiers Website!
ISP is going to MYR and SJU! :)
Where did you see this? I’m not seeing anything.
I don’t want more competition for American at CLT.
Which is one of the reasons CLT is AAs most profitable hub. Lack of competitors makes Charlotte a stronger hub long term.
Did you just say you can fly from Islip, NY to San Juan, PR?
I congratulate ISP for getting their first International Route. I wish I could say the same for MHT, but we won’t see any new airlines or routes soon :/. Though, we are hoping for B6 to come in soon
