From the frosty island of Iceland to to the Plains of Texas

I’ve always wanted ro fly this route, and found out that IcelandAir operates this route with their 757, so I decided to try it out and I barely made it with 4% fuel remaining.

Looks like a late time for the gear to come down, what altitude was that?

That is a long story lol. I was supposed to land at runway 35L, but then I realized that I wouldn’t have had enough fuel to make it to the runway, and saw that 17L was a good option even though it had a TWC of 10kts. I turned left and descended about 3 miles from the runway. I had to go at a VS of -2500 to catch the G/S, that was when I brought down the gear. I did it that late to save enough fuel to taxi to my gate.
