From the Emerald City to Anchortown

With a lot of time off lately, I took the scenic trip up the British Columbian coast to the beautiful city of Anchorage, with a stop in Alaska’s capital, Juneau.

Server: Training

Route: KSEA (Seattle-Tacoma) to PAJN (Juneau Intl.)
PAJN (Juneau Intl.) to PANC (Ted Stevens Anchorage)

Time: KSEA-PAJN (2 hours)
PAJN-PANC (1 hour 15 minutes)


A fellow Alaska Airlines pilot at the terminal at Sea-Tac.


Rocketing down the runway, departing the Emerald City.


Cruising altitude over the British Columbian wilderness.


Touchdown in the Alaskan Capital.


A friendly Eskimo smile, as we take off from Juneau, AK.


Passing over Glacier Bay National Park.


Descending into Anchorage.


Landing in our final destination, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.
