Today I paid another visit to the remote French Polynesian to do a flight from the capital, Pape’ete (NTAA) to the even more remote Easter Island! (SCIP)
I at departed around 6:10am, in time for the beautiful sunrise!
With me departing East I had to navigate around the mighty Mount 'Orohena which covers pretty much all of Pape’ete!
This flight is all accross the Pacific Ocean so there isn’t much to see. But my flight plan did take me next to the Pitcairn Islands!
Waaay off in the distance (I think) is the capital of Pitcairn Islands, Adamstown!
And after afew hours I was already on final to see Easter Island for the very first time!
Welcome to Easter Island! 🇨🇱 The local time is about 1:30pm!
And after a quick back taxi were parked at our very small gate! I recommend to visit Easter Island, its got a really beautiful landscape! And I recommend this route since you get to see some very remote islands! And I highly recommend if you are doing this route you get there in time to see the sunrise of the French Polynesian, its insanely beautiful!
