From Doha to the World: The Ultimate Qatari Virtual Journey

Qatar Airways is more than just an airline; it is a consistent title-holder of the “World’s Best Airline” award. Known for its luxurious service and the stunning Hamad International Airport hub, it connects billions of people across six continents.
Here in the skies of Infinite Flight, Qatari Virtual Airlines carries that same torch. We replicate the professionalism and operations of the real-world carrier, bringing the spirit of the Oryx to the simulator.
The Challenge
I have decided to embark on a massive journey to truly experience the scope of this network. I will be flying every single route in the Qatari Virtual Airlines database.
The Roadmap
1. Phase 1(and only): Complete every mainline Qatar Airways route.

Aircraft Unblocked: A320
For this series, we’ll be starting with the Airbus A320
A reliable and versatile narrow-body aircraft, perfectly suited for short and medium-haul operations across the network
Unfortunetly, there is no Qatar Airways A320 livery available, so the generic A320 livery will be used for all A320 flights in this series 
. This allows us to keep the routes realistic while still flying the correct aircraft type.
The first flight is coming in the next few days

Flights 1 and 2 - Doha-Sharjah-Doha🇶🇦🇦🇪
Flights: QR1034 (DOH-SHJ) and QR1035 (SHJ-DOH)
Routes: Doha Hamad (OTHH) - Sharjah (OMSJ) - Doha Hamad (OTHH)
Aircraft: Qatar A320
Our first leg takes us east across the Persian Gulf, from Doha to Sharjah, crossing the waters that connect Qatar with the United Arab Emirates. This fascinating city lies along the Gulf’s coastline and, while often overshadowed by its neighbor Dubai, stands out for its strong cultural identity and more traditional atmosphere. Sharjah is widely regarded as the cultural capital of the country, with a population closely tied to trade, education, and Islamic arts.
After our stop in Sharjah, the return leg takes us back west to Doha, retracing our path across the Gulf and completing a round-trip route between two of the region’s most important hubs.

Aircraft: Qatar A320
Our second leg takes us east across the Persian Gulf, from Doha to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Unlike its fast-paced neighbor Dubai, Abu Dhabi is known for its grand scale, wide boulevards, and a more refined, governmental atmosphere. The city plays a central role in the country’s politics, energy sector, and international diplomacy, with much of its growth driven by oil wealth and long-term urban planning. Located on a chain of islands along the Gulf coast, Abu Dhabi blends striking modern landmarks with world-class cultural institutions, making it a key destination in the region.
After our stop in the UAE capital, the return leg takes us back west to Doha, retracing our route across the Gulf and completing the second round-trip of the journey.
Flights 5 and 6 - Doha-Kuwait City-Doha 🇶🇦 🇰🇼
Flights: QR1082 (DOH-KWI) and QR1083 (KWI-DOH)
Routes: Doha Hamad (OTHH) - Kuwait (OKKK) - Doha Hamad (OTHH)
Aircraft: Qatar A320
Our third leg takes us north across the Persian Gulf, from Doha to Kuwait City, the capital of Kuwait. Positioned at the head of the Gulf, Kuwait City is a key commercial and political center, shaped by its strong maritime heritage and its role in the global energy sector. The city blends modern skyscrapers with traditional districts, reflecting its rapid development alongside deep-rooted Gulf traditions. Historically, Kuwait City grew as an important port and trading hub, long before the discovery of oil transformed it into a modern capital.
After our stop in Kuwait, the return leg takes us back south to Doha, crossing the Gulf once more and completing the third round-trip of the journey.

Aircraft: Qatar A320
Our fourth leg takes us northwest across the Persian Gulf, from Doha to Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Connected to Saudi Arabia by the King Fahd Causeway, Manama is a compact yet influential city, long known as a regional center for finance, trade, and culture. Its history as a pearl-diving hub laid the foundations for its modern economy, which today blends traditional markets with a growing skyline of contemporary towers. Despite its relatively small size, Manama plays an outsized role in the Gulf, offering a unique mix of heritage, openness, and coastal urban life.
After our stop in Bahrain, the return leg takes us back southeast to Doha, retracing our route across the Gulf and completing the fourth round-trip of the journey.
