On December 17, 1903, two brothers in Kill Devil Hills, NC were credited with the first sustained controlled flight in a powered aircraft. This week we celebrate the 113th anniversary of this historical moment that has brought us all together on Infinite Flight. Come out and join us in any aircraft to show your appreciation for the Wright Brothers and their accomplishments in aviation.

Just to clear this up. Orville Wright made the first controlled, sustained flight of a powered, aircraft on this date.
