“Southern Cross” From Sydney To New Zealand
On September 10, 1928, two trans-Pacific pilots flew the first flight from Sydney to Christchurch, New Zealand in a Fokker monoplane. Their names were Kingsford-Smith and Ulm, and the aircraft’s name was “Southern Cross”. Let’s celebrate the 88th anniversary of this flight in the Sydney Region in any Australian or New Zealand livery.
There are no established routes for this event. Come to the Sydney region in any Australian or New Zealand aircraft to join in celebrating this historic event. Team up with other pilots for formation flights, ramp screenshots, or to just enjoy flying for the love of flying on Infinite Flight. Looking forward to some awesome screenshots!
