Hey comrade, this is a great FNF. I really hope I can fly there!
Whatâs a TFR?
@ThePlaneFlyer it means whatever the TFR is donât do it or follow whatever it says, I recommend looking at #tutorials :)
It means Temporary Flight Restriction. It means that when you are inside a red circle that you will see come active, you have to listen to what it states. Click on the TFR on the map to view its description.
Glad to help! đ
Ok, so the mods add them during events and stuff like that
When thereâs a need for them, yes. What these gents are trying to say is that for this FNF (thanks SB), if you fly into the listed airports with a heavy, you risk being ghosted. See the below post for more info on what a TFR is.
Exactly. Just make sure you read the TFRs carefully, to ensure you donât get ghosted!
Make sure to take a look at the topic @TaipeiGuru linked, itâll be very helpful to look at.
For this event specifically, the TFR means you canât fly in the circles with a heavy plane, yes.
im gonna fly in from vienna in an aeroflot 739
@ThePlaneFlyer just to clarify with you, your allowed to use heavies at some airports.
Here are all of the featured airports:
And here are the no heavy airports:
Have a great night or day!
How high does the TFR go? Like what if a 747 overflys one of the airports?
Overflying is okay. You just canât land or depart from the list that Misha posted.
What would be considered a heavy?
A330/767 and up.
136 tonnes MTOW or greater
It is amazing that we now have a FNF that is not in a popular area! I am really looking forward to fly there in the Dash
Why is there no on edging the FnFin the training server?
The FNF is technically on all servers - but it is by far the most popular on the Expert Server.
Also the FNF only started 20 minutes ago soâŚyeah
