Friday Night Flight: Hennepin County @ KMSP - 210600ZFEB20

It’s time to cross back over the pond and head to the USA for a huge FNF at an airport that is under-utilised. KMSP, more commonly known as Minneapolis, is a hub for Delta Airlines, with routes spanning the globe. We’ll be heading there for this week’s event!

The airport has a huge array of locations to start your flight alongside multiple frequencies for approach controller. This should enable a smooth flow into the airport during busy periods. Established routes from New York to Wichita and IFATC will also occupy these airports.

Which Minneapolis sports announcer coined the term 'Holy Cow'?

  • Jeb Brookes
  • Regan Baccan

Interesting 🤔

We seem to be stuck on the North Centeal of America at the moment.

We really should explore the South Western inland.

We have some Delta A350 routes though! That’s for sure!

Wish I’m able to attend this but sadly I have to deal with a report until Saturday. Brilliant.

I’ll wish you all a happy time there.

Generally. MSP, and DTW have been seen a lot with IFATC recently. I havent seen Phoenix, St. Louis, not too much Houston, or places like that in years.

I love to fly in the USA. My favorite place for regional flights, which is the mode I like to do the most. Thank you Misha.

Might need to do a route I’ve done before, MKE-MSP

Sir MSP is the best airport and your opinion is invalid

Is that a 757? Don’t tell me that’s a 757.

But seriously, MSP is a great airport! Excited for the great FNF!
