It’s such a good choice mate. Great idea!!
I would like either KPHL or KMSP. Both are decently busy IRL
I would like to suggest West Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI). This airport is located in the Palm Beaches of Florida. I would like to suggest that we use this airport for FNF because there are nice views when you land and the I use this airport sometimes on Infinite Flight but when I’m at the airport, there is never anyone there!😅 On the south side of the airport, there is a whole section for private planes and on the north side of the airport, there are two terminals for commercial airlines like JetBlue, Delta, Southwest, etc. Also, I’ve flown to PBI many times before and twice I’ve seen Air Force One! And other times, I’ve seen it on the news landing there. Here is a picture of the airport to get an idea:
Ooh, I love LOT Polish Airlines and Poland!
Ontario International Airport (KONT)
Ontario is the fastest growing airport in California and handled the most cargo in the US (even more then Atlanta) during this past year. Recently, the airport has received a lot of attention with the beginning of construction of a new International concourse, and a multitude of new flights that are announced so often it’s hard to keep track! Ontario has 2 runways, parking for all types of aircraft, GA, Widebodies, Narrowbodies, Private, Cargo, etc. The airport features lots of parking, multiple frequencies, and can easily handle a large amount of aircraft. SoCal has not been recently used for an FNF, and KONT, never has been featured for an FNF.
Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport
KCVG is one of the leading cargo airports in North America. With a 1 billion dollar hub for Amazon and a HQ for Kittala Air, KCVG is the 4th largest cargo airport in North America. KCVG is also a focus city for Delta and Frontier airlines. Many routes for people to choose from!! Offering 4 ILS - Capable runways, KCVG will be the perfect place for IFATC to do what they do best! Here is an airport chart:
Here is the past article I had on KCVG:
Thanks for the consideration!!
Boston Logan International (KBOS)
6 runways with KJFK, KPVD, CYYZ, EGLL all those routes near buy but KBOS never being yoused in the game that mutch I youse it sometimes as well as KPVD
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport
ICAO Code: LFMN
Why: Beautiful combination of sea and mountain scenery (see photo), convenient location near popular European destinations, connectivity to other major hubs (e.g. New York, Dubai), rarely featured, diverse set of airlines
Nice request Joshua!
I’m with you I wanna see this as a FNF.
I would like to bring up Beijing Capital International Airport (IATA: PEK, ICAO: ZBAA)
Beijing International Airport is the main international airport serving the city of Beijing. A hub for Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, and Hainan Airlines, ZBAA has 3 terminals and 3 runways in use.
With Air China alone serving 150+ destinations (Including Pyongyang, Air China 121 to ZKPY, 737-700), having an FNF in Beijing will open up a lot of opportunities to fly different routes, stretching from Asia to other continents around the world. Not to mention, Beijing also has countless cargo routes that we can enjoy.
I love this airport (I am french) but it was featured last week 🤭
YSCB/YSSY/NZWN as tomorrow is ANZAC Day. ANZAC Day is a significant event for Australians and New Zealanders. YSCB (Canberra) is Australia’s capital and NZWN (Wellington) is New Zealand’s capital. YSSY is a large airport situated near them both and is a major city in Australia.
WIII(soekarno-hatta intl)
Route options-WARR,WADD,WSSS,etc
2 runways, many gates many near airports
Its great!
Kingsford Smith International Airport | Sydney, Australia
or anywhere that is not in Europe, East Asia, or the US!!
Lately (for around the last two months) we have seen FNFs go back and forth between Asia, USA, and Europe - so an Australian FNF would be quite nice.
Why Sydney for FNF?
-
would give a nice break away from Asia, Europe, and the US
-
it hasn’t been featured for a long time (last time Australia was featured in January however it was only military and Sydney was not there). Sydney itself was one of the featured airports alongside Melbourne back in July of 2018
-
beautiful scenery around the airport - pretty self-explanatory
-
has enough runways and gates to handle FNF traffic
-
options for many flights. Players can fly to New Zealand (FNF can be a trans-Tasman theme) or fly intercontinental to Perth, or can fly in from Singapore, USA, etc.
-
re-iterating the previous point; Thursday is ANZAC day which is an important day of recognition of the armed forces and history for both Australia and New Zealand. Friday is just one day off
INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
NEW DELHI, INDIA
VIDP
It is a great and a very big airport with many gates and ramps. There can be many routes to and from VIDP.
VIDP-VABB
VIDP-OMDB
VIDP-WSSS
VIDP-YSSY
well i already said that
VABB to VIDP and VNKT. Featured airline: Jet Airways (9W).
The busiest route in India, Bombay to Delhi is a staple route for any airline in the Indian aviation sector. Bombay is the world’s busiest single-runway-use airport (RWY 27) while Delhi is India’s first and only three-runway airport and voted among the best in the world. Kathmandu is one of the most picturesque airports in Nepal, and on the Jet Airways route. Jet Airways’ recent shutdown makes the whole event a fitting sendoff to one of the premier airlines of India!
BIKF
Kevlavik/Reykjavik
Why this Airport ?
-
Kevlavik International Airport has 2 long runways ( 19/01 ), ( 10/228 ).
-
There is enough parking for a FNF.
-
ATC recources are available
-
As I was reading all the answers below, I noticed that a lot of people want to fly to Europe, and a lot of people want to fly to America. So why don’t we open the Airport located in the center. → Everyone is happy.

Hello everyone, my suggestion to this FNF is to take you in my city. Lyon is a French city located near the Alps, not faraway from Geneva. There is a major airport called St Exupéry (LFLL).
. It has two runways, both quite long, and the longest one had welcomed Concorde ! This airport can fit some heavies (max 773 ER), many A320/737, many regional aircrafts like the CRJ, Dash 8. A second airport really near to St Exupéry is called Lyon Bron (LFLY) and has been updated thanks to yesterday’s navigation update. It is an airport that can fits private jets, GA aircrafts (many of each type).
This suggestion to the FNF goes with the diversity of IF’s fleet of aircrafts. Many short-haul but also long-haul flights can be done from and to Lyon. Landscapes are astonishing when arriving from the Alps.
Before swiping to another post, please think about the diversity of the fleet that IF have, and that can be represented here during this FNF.
Happy Landings !!! ✈️
