Atlanta! Yes, you heard it here first. The FNF is heading back to KATL! It has been a while since we have been to a huge mega-hub such as KATL, however, with increasing traffic, needs must! KATL is the perfect FNF location, with multiple parallel runways and a number of frequencies!
Other airports open will also include large airports and will be focused around Delta hubs. This allows for a large route network and a huge capacity for traffic.
Please allow for longer than normal approach times, as traffic is substantially higher than usual. IFATC will be under increased pressure, and we appeal to all pilots to show increased understanding and patience at this time.
Please note a TFR will be in place at all times at Atlanta. Within this TFR, IFATC will not issue repeated warnings for pilots due to traffic volume. We ask that you pay extra attention in these areas and we further ask that you understand the need to be patient towards IFATC
