This day is more of a widespread commercial day in the modern world, however it is steeped in history. First celebrated as the day of commemoration for Saint Valentine, the day now has more of a courtly love component.

This week we will have Paris as our hub. A hotspot for all things romantic, the city is the perfect choice for this week. Both major Paris airports will be open. IFATC will also open cities around the European area that are synonymous with romance; Venice, Vienna and Budapest to name a few. For a full list of airports, see the ‘airports’ section below.
