Friday Frenzy in Phoenix

friday was a good day to spot, so i did it again

minus the traffic on the roads, it was a very enjoyable time especially as the sun started to go down

enjoy the photos

when british first resumed service, this time of the day was pure golden hour, now it’s not :/

back to back triples, no complaints here

Jetirit (funny joke i know)

United SAF livery is very cool

who said baby’s can’t flex

climb rate??!?!?

AA’s 4th flight since they resumed PHX-LHR. International flights bring in nearly $3bn yearly to Phoenix’s economy

Louisiana one got splits?? since when

the happiest plane on earth exits off runway 8 from its flight from Smurf (if you guess the airport you get extra cool points)

This joke is so funny. In fact, it’s so funny that I got the strength to heal my broken leg, get up, and jump out the window.

1st photo - There was a time when having British or any other European airline at PHX I could not imagine. Apart from when Concorde landed there once. Obviously looking straight North at the renamed Piestewa Peak (had to look that up). Great photos!
7th photo - pitch angle is crazy dramatic.

thank you!

any triple 7 with the RR engines is an instant winner for me. thanks!

i remember occasionally the 747s would fly over my house. i’m disappointed i wasn’t that interested in aviation yet to spot them.

definitely must’ve been really light on a shorter flight. i don’t think i’ve ever seen a climb angle that steep before

definitely! thanks!
