Was flying from KJFK and as I was holding , I tried multiple times to switch to Tower frequency in multiple ways-through map and then manually tunning, through the controller and the direct change. But i was still hearing the ground frequency comms and the controller was not able to hear my request for departure calls. Couldn’t find a similar report if anyone has reported this earlier please do share, I would remove this asap.
P.S.- Did the flight again, didnot encounter this bug again
Had the same exact issue this morning on my iPad landing into DUB from BOS. Approach handed me over to tower but couldn’t in any way tune to the new frequency. If I tried to tune out from approach the ATC menu wouldn’t give me any frequency available (not even UNICOMs from nearby airfields). I just ended up closing the app and going back to sleep lol.
