This is similar to Free cam pans to right uncontrolably
but the free camera spins randomly and not just to the right or left, but also up and down. It seems to happen when I use two fingers to do plane spotting. This is really annoying because I can’t use the free cam without the entire thing spinning out of control.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, downgrading to iOS 9.3.5, restoring the whole iPad and nothing works.
Have you tried doing what Joe suggested to do to fix it in the post with the same issue as you, and does that work?
Double tab, then zoom in and out. Works for me.
This never happens when I’m flying, but when I’m ATC it always happens.
Happens to me too. Just double tap and zoom in and out like what @Toothless states. The developers should fix this.
Does this happen every time? Or just occasionally? You might be able to confuse the controls by inputting control from the two halves of the screen simultaneously.
It kind of works as it stops the camera from spinning but it doesn’t fix it in the long term
I guess that works for me, hopefully the developers fix it in the Global update.
