I’m curious if the new rendering system that’s currently in the works would also affect fps in a positive way? Or is this just a gateway to more complex stuff that previously wasn’t possible to add?
Could this bring more efficiency to the game as an additional feature?
As you put it - it is primarily a gateway do add certain features that have previously not been possible. And also to get rid of dependence on legacy code.
FPS is not really something that is cared about much within flight simulation. Targeting around 60 is usually more than enough. It’s not like first person shooters where FPS actually matters :)
Alright, thanks for the info. My phone handles landings and take offs at 30fps at calm airports. And even that is good enough and at busy airports I’ll just lower the settings.
Hello @schyllberg. I’ve got a question i would like to ask. Whenever i spawn in at a busy airport, my game fps would drop very low which makes it very laggy. Is there anything i can do to prevent this from happening?
