It’d be great if we could open and close the FPL on the bottom right just using the thumb. This would be better than having to reach all the way to the top to close it.

Yeah i agree but also dont at the same time. If it was at the bottom, it would be too crowded with buttons
Switching Close for Info would be the best choice
