Forward and Side Slips

Has anyone been successful at doing this? I have found this to be “Extremely” difficult for me on IF. If you guys have video of you doing it in IF, please feel free to share. Want to see if anyone else could do it.

ive done it in IF. Its hard to do and requires extreme precision. I don’t have any videos though

I have tried multiple times, I don’t think I’ve done it successfully though.

Very often when doing patterns in a spitfire.

Damn this would have been useful on Saturday

I actually do it on like 5 out of 10 landings just for show off purposes on live 😁

You need a very fine and precise hand for the rudder to do this in IF. It’s possible but hard to do on small screens like I have. I prefer the Crab but the Side Slip is far more useful on the props.

IF doesn’t have realistic physics; no sims do. That’s probably why.

Super Decathlon, does it well

Oh wow, I haven’t used that plane in so long. Forgot it doesn’t have flaps. I’ll try it in Decath then.

Without flaps the better,

Ok the Decathlon, 👌!!! I floated a bit too long the first couple of times and had to go around lol. The 4th time around in the pattern, I got it. Feel like a pro now 😎.
