I would suggest you to make sure your WIFI is working, and that you device is connected. But that’s really anything you can do. I think there was 1 time when the IFC crashed. But this is just a wifi issue.
I will reset my router but i got full bars on my stronger network
it might be just a device issue then. I have had times when I was on full bars but stuff was really laggy. So restarting your device could happen
Alright will try that thanks
The lag is more network/load related. All you can really do is to ensure you have a strong connection. If it keeps up try restarting your browser or reboot.
Is this lag happening with any other applications on your device? Or is there any noticeable lag with any other devices on the same WiFi network?
No just this app alone
And just to be clear, you are using the phone app, and not accessing discourse though your browser?
Not sure what u mean
Are you using the app? Or Safari or Chrome?
Safari idk it had an ifc app
Safari
Discourse
The only reason I ask this is because I know I’ve had some issues when going though Safari
I dont use the app i use safari
Here: take a look as this #support I put in back in January. I was using Safari too. Do you by any chance use AT&T?
Lag & not working are two very different things, especially when it comes to websites.
Well the issue stopped for me, so I assume it’s possible it’s presenting itself in a different fashion than it did almost a year ago
This would most likely be device related.
Basic steps to start with when it comes to any issue that occurs within a browser:
Clear browser cache.
Here’s how to clear information from your device:
-
To clear your history and cookies, go to Settings > Safari, and tap Clear History and Website Data. Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won’t change your AutoFill information.
-
To clear your cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tap Remove All Website Data.
Nope, not when it comes to these things. Very, very different :)
Not living in america so no
