Is there a way to do formation takeoffs at an ATC controlled airport? For example, if I was in a flight of 3 F-16s, is there a way for ATC to allow us to do a formation takeoff?
Yep if you have flight of 3 in all your callsigns it’s your responsibility of how your going to execute that. I’ve done it many times before! Just be responsible since the runway width varies at certain airports. You can just do a line up in those situations but it’s your choice and responsibility again to figure that out as the lead pilot. Always fun to do not going to lie!

Yes, this is correct. However, make sure that only one person makes all the communication with ATC. ATC will treat the group as one plane. All the aircraft should still be tuned into ATC to hear the instructions though.
