Forgotten Aircraft

P-38 is a very cool airplane I particularly like, but on days with so many aircraft on the infinite flight it turns out that planes like this are forgotten like the Spitfire / A-10 Thunderbolt/C-17, so if you want a tip try to explore those aircraft less used to make the simulation a little more fun, If you think the same way I tell you about your experience with a forgotten aircraft !!!

The only reason nobody flies them is because of their terrible physics. I kinda think of it as “they are dying from old age.” 🤷🏼‍♂️

@Delta_Alpha_Lima I would totally agree, but I think the key is that we do need some of the aircraft especially the airbus reworked before we get too many new ones, like they are doing with the CRJ, what would be cool is a mass remake of the small GA aircraft…🙃

Not here to discuss what we want reworked. #kthxbye 🙃

I know I was just throwing it out there since it was related…

I fly this mainly once a week (on IF). Can’t forget the mother of all bombers ;)

Huh? The A10’s main MO was to provide Close Air Support for ground troops and “Secondary MO” they would direct other aircraft to ground targets. Best known for its rotary cannon.

That is true, mainly referring to its use for “fighter-bomber effective at attacking ground targets.” during WWII. I have researched about this baby as well.

I totally agree with you the only reason people don’t fly GA aircraft is one there isn’t many and two there’s bad graphics and physics in that aircraft

I think you are referring to the SkyRaider which was propeller driven. The first A-10 wasn’t delivered for service until the mid 70’s

And lack of autopilot

I’m pretty sure the A10 has A/P. It was the only fighter to have it before the MD11 update.

Take a look at the OP. The spit and p38 don’t have autopilot.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll go over it!

If they were good models then people would fly them. That’s how it works on IF from what I’ve seen.

Correct and turbofan engines weren’t made until the 60s and turbojets only came at the end of the war

The spitfire and p38 dont
