When you realize that these things will enter in service… and the B-52 will still be flying… IN THE MAINLINE…

Yes, especially since it’s getting a totally upgraded navigation system and engines to help reduce carbon emissions for those who find that very important!
So it’s a win win 🎉

No, just no.

Yes well it’s happening, I’m just happy they aren’t retiring it.
It was either new engines or scrapped. 😒

At least they can’t even decide for an engine 🤣. TF33s are unreplacable. The TF39 retirement from the C-5 was already too much for me 😢

Yeah idk what they are doing, but they said with the new engines we can expect it to stay in service until 2050!
IT’LL BE 100 YEARS OLD 🎉

Meanwhile the “new stuff” probably won’t do 30

Lol yeah really
RR can’t even make engines without cracks anymore

And PW also is having some issues with their GTFs

Yeah. The only thing I notice with newer aircraft is there are barely any crashes unlike the past where it seems there’d be a major crash every year

Remember: It’s because of the past crashes that flying is extremely safe today

Yes that’s true
