In trems of first flight date, for me the classics go until the end of the 1990s/Early 2000s (so that includes the A318 and the E-Jets, but not the A380)

I always wondered why older aircraft liveries had their noses painted black, was that just a trend it did it serve some function?

Yes it did serve a purpose. It has something to do with the radar working (if I’m not mistaken other paints had metal particles, whilist the black didn’t. Unless you wanted to pay for a very expensive paint, like UA)

I’m guessing what happened at STL after TWA is what happened at Milwaukee? Because that airport has a lot of gates.

It says classic aviation/airliners, so does this count?

Btw, if you hate modern airliners because of tight interiors, why do you like the concorde? I know it may look nice on the outside, but the inside is even tighter than the 737 max interior you don’t like @ClassicAirlinerLover ?
