Back when Delta actually designed good special liveries. The last good one, to me anyway, was the first BCRF scheme from the 2000s.

I think the 737, 727, 767, 757, 772, and 788 are the sexiest planes Boeing ever produced.

- Japan Airlines 747-300 JA812J departing San Francisco for Narita as JL1 in 1999. Even though the 747-400 had largely supplanted the Classics on non-Hawaiian U.S. routes, the -300s still occasionally showed up as substitutions when a -400 wasn’t available.
- Business class seating in the nose of a JAL 747-300 in the early 2000s. Usually, there’d be a barrier between the forward exit doors and the business cabin, but it’s been removed here for some reason.
- Business class seating in the Upper deck of a JAL 747-300 around the same time. Just look at those recliners!
- Looking down the length of a JAL 747-300’s upper deck. While the seats had personal IFE screens by the early 2000s, there was still the big screen at the front of the cabin for movies.

early widebodies had a whole bunch of different seating configurations, both for business and economy.
air canada used to have 3-4-2 on their 747-100s
