Time for me to chime in because yes!!
NWA flew these buses to Minneapolis, Detroit and for a short time Memphis! Contarary to popular belief, Jackson wasnt the only city served in Wyoming; They also served casper with CRJ9 service also to MSP and DTW :backhand_index_pointing_up::nerd_face:

I’m honestly surprised they served Casper but not Cheyenne - Cheyenne is more populated and more of a business center than Casper.

At the time that Northwest was in operation, Cheyenne’s airport wasn’t a commercial one (Only military). Only in about the last decade or so has it gained commercial service with United to Denver.
No other airports would have made sence imo besides maybe Sheridan. No other airports at the time besides JAC and CPR could handle the CRJ9 due to its length

Never heard of them. LOL

Same. I last flew a Battleship Grey livery back in 2013 (thereabouts) from ORD-SFO. I distinctly recall seeing the eagle logo on the engine.

A couple of oldies!
BA, PanAm & Aspen! Yep they flew into KLAX back in the day!

A Braniff copy? The days of Stapleton…

From the days of the Big D. Circa 1977.

That’s awesome. The 707 looks so sleek in the Varig livery.

Every few Fridays me and my friend meet up at the twa hotel (it’s only a few blocks away), and as you guys may already know, they have an old twa Connie there.
