Picture taken in 2018, probably still around today.

Never knew there was a plane still wearing the Midwest Connect branding.

Cool pic! Midwest isn’t even that old so that photo gives me a strange eery or abandonment sense

Are there still any hot cookies on board? :)

Edible? Don’t know for sure. 😆

I hope they come back with 717s. Probably never happening though. Rip MD, pretty sure there are only 2 US airlines still operating flights with them that aren’t charters…

Reposting this here lol, check out that pic!

TWA had their ooh so gooey warm chocolate chip & walnut cookies in all classes. 2 of them and a pint of milk, good for the entire flight!

I was born in the late 2000s, so I sadly never got to experience TWA…

Screw Carl Icahn though.

Even in 2001?

The topic was titled airliners, so I assumed we were talking about commercial transports. I know you’re joking, of course. 🙂

Crossing my fingers that I see this 737 at Hill AFB this summer

What kind of plane is that?

It’s an ex WN 737-700.

-300 actually. The -700 won’t come until 2025 or 2026

It’s a modified 737-300. It has a 4000 gallon retarded tank built inside it

I didn’t realize any 737-300s had winglets!

The classics started to get winglets around the same time as the NGs. Some of Southwest’s 737-300s got winglets. Others got winglets and the Heart livery before retirement
