Flying without a PPL

Today i took a flight with the young eagles in lower east maryland at st. mary’s. The instructor let me fly 80% of the flight (a couple patterns), and then greased the landing. Mind you, I have no flight experience at all lol

Aircraft: Piper PA-28 180

Enjoying a surf n turf burger after, 10/10

Nice job 👏🏽, will be all of us one day.

I’m glad you had a good time, but this comment is completely unnecessary. I get your intention, but please be mindful of your audience. After all, this is a public forum; anyone with access to the internet can see that.

Oh, and while I’m here to ruin the party, every student pilot out there flies without a PPL.

well yeah, but i meant that i had 0 flight experience lol

I have done a few with cap and young eagles and its a ton of fun. Learned a lot from it. My favorite had to be flying a Citabira.

Hope you had fun flying! Flying the Archer is actually super smooth. Have you checked out the Archer in the Glass Cockpit configuration?

unfortunately no, but maybe soon. it was half glass, half old cockpit config

Can u tell me how u got to fly a plane without any licenses?

All student pilots fly without a license.

but he looks sooo young int he pic… is he aligiebel for ppl?

You have to be 16. You can fly without any licensing or certification as long as there is someone with a ppl or whatever in the plane with you

oh okay, :)
