Flying with Gordon Pt. 55

Boeing 737-900er
Captain J. Gordon

Today, I flew back home from Palm Springs!! The flight was pretty smooth and easy with the exception of the takeoff and landing 🤦🏾‍♂️ The rotating wasn’t bad, it’s just that I decided to hand-fly instead of let the autopilot take control after while. The departure wasn’t choppy or anything, it just wasn’t as smooth as the autopilot does it. With the approach, all I can say about that is that it was night time 🤷🏾‍♂️😂 I usually don’t have the smoothest landings at night. It wasn’t a rough landing, but I didn’t have the trim set how I usually do it, so the nose came down very fast 😬 Other than that, this was a very great flight and I hope some of you will fly this route before it stops being serviced!! Anyway, I hope you all had a great day and as always, I’ll see you in the skies 😊
