Today, I had an AMAZING flight from Atlanta to Newark and back!! Today’s flight was nothing short of great 😁 We experienced some pretty strong winds during the cruise but it wasn’t as bad as I’ve experienced. Upon arrival in Newark, we had a crosswind of almost 30kts!! (I don’t remember the exact number 😬) However, i GREASED it 😎👨🏾✈️ It made me smile super hard after I landed. Usually, I do terrible in winds that high, but today, I remembered to use aileron deflection and it payed off well!! Takeoff, was very bumpy as expected as we had a 22kt crosswind on takeoff. It was hard to maintain centerline, but I did it. I’m very proud of myself for accomplishing the goal of landing and taking off in a very high wind condition!! 😂 I land on whatever runway is used “realistically”. If ATL using 8L, that’s where I’ll land. If ATL is using 26R, that’s where I’ll land and that applies to ALL airports. It bothers me when people use the wrong runway
