They’re not, but a “beach” is just “a strip of land covered with sand, pebbles, or small stones at the edge of a body of water, especially by the ocean between high- and low-water marks.” So anything along a river, stream, ocean, lake, or pond constitutes a beach. Also, standing on the shores of some of our lakes, especially Lake Superior, you really couldn’t tell it’s a lake.
I remember watching Peppa Pig when I was 5-6 years old and the teacher went into the ocean (or sea as they call it) despite it being cold and everybody else refusing to get in
Polar plunges are a big thing here. Like hundreds of people do it at once lol. I’ve done one - never again, not for me. But they’re suposedly good for you.
They’re quite pretty in the snow and ice though.
I’ll definitely be visiting again!
I don’t unfortunately. I do know that I was on the JIIMS4 STAR with a ZJAAY transition, then landing on Runway 6.
The Great Lakes do look and feel very oceanic. I feel like Lake Superior looks like Coastal Maine or something; even the towns along the water’s edge have a North Atlantic vibe.
Beautiful photos Trenton is such a fun little Airport! Its number one on my list for when the A320Neo comes out since Trenton only receives the A320Neo irl!
I watched it on Nick Jr. (not sure if it aired on any other channels) but from what I remember it was still the same as the UK version or maybe a bit altered but not that much
