Welcome to the 30th Flight in my World Tour series, as I embark on a transcontinental journey from Sydney to Rome. Join me as I soar aboard the Qantas 789 on a thrilling adventure!
Flight Details:
Departure: Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD)
Destination: Rome Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO)
So you flew all the way across the pacific which is around 14 hours from SYD-LAX then another 4 hours to reach the East Coast of the USA so that’s 18 hours already then another 6 hours to make landfall over Ireland so around a whole 24 hours at this point and another 2 hours to make it to Italy so 26 hours if you flew over the Pacific. How was it 19.5 hours? Typo? If you flew westwards from Australia you would fly over Asia, Middle East and then Eastern Europe.
