Flying through sea

I was at KLAX on casual and flew out and towards the sea in a F22. I somehow managed to fly into the sea and went to negative -4000 Feet AGL. As I tried to resurface, I then got the crash error. Is this normal

It a known glitch. Flying too fast into the ground and you will be underground.

How fast were you flying? There’s a good chance that a “crash” didn’t register initially.

Why would you want to crash though? Poor F22 😢

I don’t know how your F-22 managed to fly underwater 4000 ft AGL below the water surface. Anyway, did you manage to catch a glimpse of marine life?
