Flying the event

Hey guys I’m just wondering when you get told to fly runway heading at or above 5,000 doesn’t that mean to fly the heading until you get there then start your own navigation or would you still listen to atc because I got reported for doing that and I was well above FL100

When you are given a runway heading instruction you must fly the runway heading until the altitude they told you to fly to on runway heading. After you reach the altitude you may begin to resume your own navigation however if you are given another instruction, you must always abide by that. If you feel as if the report can be appealed, please contact @appeals
