On the flying guide I noticed it says on the AP setup that I should set my altitude target for my “target stop altitude for the SID I plan on flying”, can someone explain what this means? Does it just mean the last altitude on the SID, and if so, do I just go to my cruising altitude after I reach the last altitude on the SID?

In reality, SID specifies the maximum and minimum gradient rates to ensure a safe start. Therefore, it is recommended to raise to cruising altitude after reaching the SID target.
