Flying Every Route Into Or Out Of Queenstown
Hello IFC :)

If you couldnt tell by the title, I will be flying every route in and out of Queenstown, that also includes every airline that operates it. It serves 9 routes but I’ll have to fly 40 flights to complete this challenge. I recommend checking out Aviation-21’s challenge as it is a lot more challenging and it takes a lot longer to do. I only aim for this to take a week or two and also anyone can join this one so PM me or just say in the comment section if you want to join one.

About Queenstown

Queenstown is a small town in the southern alps of NZ, it’s airport is known for its difficult approach and its extremely short runway. It serves many destination around New Zealand and around Australia. With a total of 20 flights to fly, this should be a good and fun adventure that will take me around the south alps many times.

Love the idea! I’ve lived in Wanaka for most of my life, so Queenstown was my hub for ages. I’d love to join the odd flight when I can if that’s cool :)

Of course - used to ski heaps! Cardrona was my main field of choice, so I used to see plenty of aircraft inbound to Queenstown fly overhead. Many flew inbound from the north and did the old right 360 approach around Lake Hayes to descend…before the days of RNAV through the Kawarau!
