Flying All of Brussels Airlines’ Routes!
Greeting everybody! For the year 2025, I decided to set myself a challenge. If you read the title, you can probably guess what it is.
That’s right, I will attempt to fly every route Brussels Airlines has to offer.
I’ve seen a few of these kinds of topics pop up in the Live category before, so I thought I’d make one myself, with a little Belgian spin on it.
I think this topic will help me keep track of all my flights, but it’ll also help me interact some more with the community, which I desperately need to do more.
And I simply just love my country’s flag carrier. Brussels Airlines is nowhere near as big as the flag carriers of our neighbours, such as KLM, Air France, Lufthansa or British Airways, but I still like them.
Brussels Airlines is not nearly as well known as those other airlines, but I thought this topic might shine some light on our small nation’s flag carrier.
There aren’t necessarily many “rules” I have to follow, but I’ve set myself a couple of straight forward ones.
Rule:
-
I must fly each and every leg of any given flight.
-
I must use realistic callsigns when possible. Due to the fact that you can’t change callsigns while already spawned in anymore, this rule is flexible.
-
I must use aircraft that are used on the routes in real life. Some semi-“historic” routes done under wet-lease agreements may be done with aircraft no longer officially in service with the airline.
(That’s about all I can think of right now.)
To make some of the information a little easier to read, I’ll be using this format in my posts:
Example:
Leg Number | Route | Flight Number / Callsign | Aircraft Type | Completion Status |
---|---|---|---|---|
Leg 1 | Brussels (BRU/EBBR) - London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL) | SN2093 (BEL2AH) / Bee-Line 2AH | Airbus A320neo | In Progress |
Leg 2 | London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL) - Brussels (BRU/EBBR) | SN2094 (BEL1LH) / Bee-Line 1LH | Airbus A320neo | Not complete |
Some more important information:
-
I wont be flying these routes in ay sort of order. I’ll just pick a route I feel like doing and fly it.
-
There won’t be a set schedule of me flying. I’m going to start my first job soon, so I likely won’t have a lot of time on my hands for the majority of any given week.
Currently we only have two Brussels Airlines liveries in the simulator. These are on the Airbus A319 and A330-300.
However, both of these liveries are outdated to an extent. Both aircraft carry the old livery of the airline, which in the case of the A330 isn’t that unrealistic, but for the A319 it is.
Brussels Airlines currently only has one A319 left that’s painted in the old livery. That is out of 14 total planes. So twelve A319s are painted in the new livery, as well as one in the Star Alliance livery, while only one remains in the livery we currently have in the simulator. On top of that, the livery we have is registered OO-SSD, which was retired in 2020.
As for the A330-300, there are still four aircraft painted in the old livery, while “only” three are painted in the new livery (the rest being hybrid liveries). However, the registration of the one we have in the simulator is OO-SFX, which is now painted in the new livery (it was, in fact, the first A330 to be painted in the new livery).
Aside from that, I sincerely hope that when the A320neo releases, it comes with the Brussels Airlines livery from the start so I have another option to fly.
As for other Brussels Airlines liveries…

I think that’s about it. If I think of anything else to add, I’ll update this main post accordingly.
Let the challenge begin!
(I already started a week ago, shhhh.)
