I asked ChatGPT to pick the followings for my flight:

  • Aircraft
  • Airline
  • Departure and arrival Airport

which then chose the following:

Hello!

The flight suggestions are good in general
However, the flight plans it provides are rather useless. Not sure if it’s because of our nav database being a bit out of date, ChatGPT having a weird database or a mix of both.

This website is very good, I use it. But sometimes it can suggest strange waypoints, just be sure to double check your flight plans and delete waypoints that are thousands of miles away. Or within 20nm of each other to avoid circling and eventually stalling. But fantastic idea! Make sure to use runway 07L/25R on arrival in Hong Kong for realism! And every time I have flown Qatar from Hong Kong they have been at gate 28 or 30.

That’s it. According to OpenAI, the company that makes and runs ChatGPT, the systems information database is on average 2 years behind, meaning it has Infinite Flight information from 2021.
