I plan on flying to Mars in a few weeks…
This is no way or shape of form disrespect or anything but just some constructive criticism:
You use the word “attempt”. Well again hate to tell you but I am 100% sure you won’t be successful. I said this many times but the moon in IF is a paintin on the wall. It will remain 2d no matter how close you get to it.
The farthest you will make is around 60000ft or 100000ft. It has been done and tested my many people in the past.
Even if you are still going to do this, the Boeing 777 is not a good idea. The Boeing 777 IRL and in IF has a service ceiling of around 43000ft. This means this is literally the highest the plane can go. If you are still trying to do this, use the F22 or a differnt fighter jet.
Why do you care so much about how I use my time? As for the reason I’m using a 777, I want a long ranged aircraft.
Dude, calm down. Just let the guy have his fun and do what he wants!
I was going to sing “Fly Me To The Moon” because I love that song, but “I Dreamed a Dream” seems more appropriate.
@BobbyRobert @pigdatflyz Alright do whatever makes you happy. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings or anything like that.
Also I strongly suggest you use the F22 since that is the plane in the IF that can go the highest. The Boeing 777 can only reach up to 43000 ft and just remember what I said above.
To add on to K3v1nxu,
yes, it’s the best idea to use the F22. Also you mentioned ranged, part of the reason why your using the Boeing 777, but technically F-22 can stay in the air endlessly. (airial refueling)
Only if the refueler can get up to the right altitude
I actually remember Laura saying that it was a physical object in IF!
Exactly, and she put a challenge out to those who wanted to try to make it there
I hope everyone realizes that you will make it to 100,000 feet and then get stuck in the atmosphere, before falling back to earth.
Laura said just days before Global was out, that the moon is a physical sphere and that she challenges people to get there.
Getting to 1261155000ft is the easy part, getting the right trajectory, is the hard part
Actually… now that I think about it, I do recall that statement from Laura about the moon being an actual object… So, I’m changing my answer… Good Luck!
Christof won’t like you trying to leave the show and Seahaven. Better be careful…
Since reminding me I might of actually also maybe heard her say that. So it might be true.
Thers a chance she might be just pranking us because having the scale of the moon to the earth and distance requires lost of resoures and storage. After all the moon is 238,900 mi away from the earth
But I will have to say this fact above is true.
But you don’t get stuck when you reach 100,000ft, why would you stop at 100,000ft? Laura was not pranking us, she genuinely wants people to make it to the Moon as a challenge.
Another obstacles that the moon is 200k miles away from earth. No aircraft currently has that range
You just have to turn the engines off if you wanna save fuel, let the plane keep spinning and flying towards the moon.
The challenge is the range of the device. It takes 3 days to get to the moon at 39,897 km/h. But I do know some people are able to get the F-22 up to Mach 100, I have only gotten in the Mach 30 range I think.
Obviously your gonna have to wait days to get there…
As I said, it is possible to get to Mach 100, the Apollo 11 flew around Mach 30
