Hello Infinite Flight Community. My name is MJL. I’m very proud to have this opportunity of running Emirates VA. Fly Emirates Virtual operates flight to 161 destinations to 85 countries across 6 continents from our hubs DXB and DWC for Cargo Ops. It has a particularly strong presence in the South and Southeast Asian region, which together connect Dubai with more international destinations in the region than any other airline. The countries with the largest number of airports served by Emirates are the United States with 12, India with 9, the United Kingdom with 8 and Australia and Pakistan with 5.

The Fly Emirates Virtual fleet is composed of mainly 2 wide-body aircraft, the Boeing 777 and Airbus A380. We also have the Airbus A318 for Executive operations and we use the Cessna 172 for training purposes.

  • Airbus A318
Summary

The Airbus A318 is the smallest airliner in the A320 family. The A318 carries up to 132 passengers and has a maximum range of 3,100 nmi (5,700 km; 3,600 mi). Final assembly of the aircraft took place in Hamburg, Germany.

  • Airbus A350
Summary

The Airbus A350 is a long-range twin-engine wide-body jet airliners developed by the European aerospace manufacturer, Airbus. The A350 is the first Airbus aircraft with both fuselage and wing structures made primarily of carbon fibre reinforced polymer. Its variants seat 315 to 369 passengers in typical seating layouts. The A350 is positioned to succeed the A340 and to compete with the[Boeing 787 and 777.

  • Airbus A380
Summary

The Airbus A380 is the world’s largest passenger airliner, a wide-body aircraft. Airbus studies started in 1988 and the project was announced in 1990 to challenge the dominance of the Boeing 747 in the long haul market. The A3XX project was presented in 1994; Airbus launched the €9.5 billion ($10.7 billion) A380 programme on 19 December 2000. The first prototype was unveiled in Toulouse on 18 January 2005, with its first flight on 27 April 2005. It obtained its EASA and FAA. type certificates on 12 December 2006. Difficulties in electrical wiring caused a two-year delay and the development cost ballooned to €18 billion.

  • Boeing 777-200LR
Summary

The 777-200LR (“LR” for Longer Range), the C-market model, entered service in 2006 as one of the longest-range commercial airliners. Boeing named it Worldliner as it can connect almost any two airports in the world. It holds the world record for the longest nonstop flight by a commercial airliner. It has a maximum design range of 8,555 nautical miles (15,844 km) as of 2017. The -200LR was intended for ultra long-haul routes such as Los Angeles to Singapore.

  • Boeing 777-200F
Summary

The 777 Freighter (777F) is an all-cargo version of the twinjet, and shares features with the -200LR; these include its airframe, engines, with a maximum payload of 224,900 lb (102,000 kg) (similar to the 243,000 lb (110,000 kg) of the Boeing 747-200F. Greater range is possible if less cargo weight is carried.

  • Boeing 777-300ER
Summary

The 777-300ER (“ER” for Extended Range) is the B-market version of the -300. Its higher MTOW, the 777-300ER features raked and extended wingtips, a strengthened fuselage and wings and a modified main landing gear. It is powered by the GE90-115B turbofan, the world’s most powerful jet engine with a maximum thrust of 115,300 lbf (513 kN). Following flight testing, aerodynamic refinements have reduced fuel burn by an additional 1.4%. At Mach 0.839 (495 kn; 916 km/h), FL300, -59 °C and at a 513,400 lb (232.9 t) weight, it burns 17,300 lb (7.8 t) of fuel per hour. Its operating empty weight is 371,600 lb (168.6 t).

Fly Emirates Virtual is currently partnered with 16 Airlines and Virtual Airlines at launch! We have 4 VA partnerships and 12 airline partnerships. The airline partnerships are for the airlines without an active VA to accommodate it. With these partnerships, we connect every inch of the globe. You may fly these codeshare routes based on the our codeshare requirements through ranks:

Regional Aircraft unlocked at Second Officer.
Narrowbody Aircraft unlocked at Senior First Officer.
Widebody Aircraft unlocked at Training Captain.

We have joint ventures with Southwest Virtual. We know that the real Emirates doesn’t indulge in this experience, but we will expand our horizons and set new paths. Fly Emirates Virtual and Southwest Virtual will be in a close knit relationship and we think our colors complement eachother.

Qantas Virtual Group and Fly Emirates Virtual are also in a very close relationship. With this partnership, you will be able to fly Qantas planes all over Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. We can’t wait to see where this partnership takes us!

Fly Emirates Virtual is partnered with the newly IFVARB approved Spicejet Virtual. This partnership lets us expand our network in the Indian country and this partnership is very valuable to us. We are Spicejet’s first codeshare and we are proud to be partnering with them! Take a look at their brand new thread!

Rank Hours Aircraft/Perks
Cadet ETVA Pilots Cessna 172
Second Officer 1 Hour Required Boeing 777-300ER/Regional Companion Aircraft
First Officer 100 Hours Required Boeing 777-200LR
Senior First Officer 200 Hours Required Boeing 777-200F/Narrowbody Companion Aircraft
Captain 300 Hours Required Airbus A380
Training Captain 400 Hours Required Airbus A350/Widebody Companion Aircraft
Ranks Explanation

At a glance, this ranking looks very intimidating and unreasonable, but Fly Emirates Virtual operates mainly long haul flights. You would only do 14, 7-hour flights to get about 100 hours rather than doing 50, 2-hour flights with any other VA. We also want you feel a sense of completeness when you get promoted. Imagine getting the highest rank and then looking back at all the hard work you put into earning that rank. I feel like most VA’s rank systems are just too easy and when you get promoted, you might feel good, but not as good as getting promoted after flying 100 hours each time. This is also way more realistic as most airlines want pilots that have 1,000 or more.

Skywards is a way to provide our pilots with rewards for their hard work in the VA. All skywards tiers include event priority to all Internal and External events with Fly Emirates Virtual and so much more. As you grow in the tiers, you will get to unlock so many amenities and secrets that we have been hiding for a long time. With Skywards, everyone deserves a reward.

We teach 33 different subjects at Emirates Virtual Training Academy. The knowledge test includes all subjects. You will take the entry exam when you first apply to the VA. Your score will determine what subjects you wll study in the training academy. You must get an 80% or better on the Exit Exam to be awarded crew member status. We will give you every resource and guide you to make sure that you know everything on that test.

All prospective pilots will be thoroughly examined to make sure you are the best fit for our VA.

May I ask what bidding priority is?
