Flugtage 2023 | 75 Years of Flying Group Zürcher Oberland FGZO

Flugtage 2023

On the weekend of 1 and 2 July 2023 the Zürcher Oberland Flying Group FGZO celebrated its 75th anniversary. The event was held at their home base Speck Fehraltorf airfield.

Unfortunately due to a training incident in June, the Patrouille Suisse had been grounded. They were due to perform, but due to bad weather conditions the day before, training had to be cancelled. This resulted in their display being cancelled the following day. Luckily the PC-7 Team were on their way back to their home base from another display and paid a visit, which was very spontaneous as they were only supposed to display on the Sunday and not the Saturday.

In my opinion, Swiss airshow are some of the best. Whilst normally quite small and simplistic, there is always a lot going on with a large variety of aircraft. Also the possibly to get so close to the aircraft is always nice.
