Tallahassee is Florida’s capital city, situated just east of the state’s famous panhandle, and is also the capital city of Leon County. It is the home of Florida State University, one of the largest colleges in the state, as well as also hosting Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, and Tallahassee State College. Its population sits at 196.000, however, including the city’s metro area (Crawfordville included), is closer to 390.000 people. Its airport, being the state’s capital airport, sees crucial service from three airlines to several business centers & airline superhubs, as well as numerous intra-state connections.
