Floating point bug?

Description

Years ago (before the global update), there was a floating point bug where aircraft would slide along the ground after a long flight. This was fixed with the global update (almost eight years ago); however, in the latest build I’ve noticed that aircraft seem to slide along the ground. It’s hard to capture but it definitely feels/appears like aircraft are sliding along on an ice rink - exactly like the old floating point bug.

Maybe it is something to do with the wheels spinning incorrectly and causing this illusion, but something definitely feels peculiar.

Bro it’s a network error or something is your connection is good you not see it..

Hey I see in my game not happening this glitch in my game it’s your net problem buddy.

Had this numerous times while controlling when someone’s disconnected after finish a flight.

It’s shown because the pilot have not good connection…

It’s not in my case, it’s because they’ve disconnected after their flight

Definitely not the same as we no longer suffer from that issue

Do you have a video of this happening so we can visualize it?

Hi,

Sorry for the low-quality gif. Looking at it closely, it’s an issue with how the wheels spin: they rotate one way, then stop and rotate the other way. It’s definitely more noticeable at times, such as when turning - this is just the first 10s I recorded. But maybe it’s always been like this? It could just be more observable with the new lighting (ie wheels going in/out of shadow, which happens when turning).
