So this is one of the best bugs ever.
Yesterday me and @Freddiefrogs were at KPAO. There was one other aircraft:

Obviously this cannot be reproduced as this was another user. @Freddiefrogs reported the same though.
Maybe he is testing the new IF Hovercraft :)
This has happened to me as well in the past, and last night it was really bad (Advanced Server). I wasn’t even able to move the aircraft, and could gear up and down!
So have you experienced this actually flying the plane?
This is how we found Matt aswell so it’s probably a bug …
Beta testers may have different airport layouts than the public (this includes different altitudes for airports).
I did not get his name, though it wasn’t someone I recognized.
