Recently had the chance to visit FlightStar Aviation Services at Cecil Field airport, Jacksonville FL. I had the opportunity to see the hanger in which they did maintenance Boeing aircraft, mostly the 757.
An American Airlines 757 being converted to a DHL freighter
737 undergoing maintenance
Some 757’s getting updated and repaired. Engines were huge.
Engine Blades getting checked and removed for engine maintenance
An Enter Air 737 in the hanger
Onboard a Cargo 757-200F
Estafeta Airlines 737 - A rare catch!
And old Shanghai 757 getting scrapped
Another 757 with its paint job removed. Being converted to a Cargo aircraft
An MD-80 undergoing cleaning and repairs
A 757 getting its maintenance inspection
A Military 737 doing patterns
A citation holding short of the runway
A 757-200F ready to depart for Europe in the next few days
Please don’t use without permission
Camera is a Canon Powershot SX60HS
Great photos! I will get an opportunity to do something a bit similar to this in August! Btw I really like photo of the fan blades :)
Edit: If you look closely at the AA 757’s tail in the first photo the tail looks like it has a human on it!
