Been on the game for half a year now. Here are all of my glows with the location:

to add:
-rarity is (mostly) always constant on skycards.
-a rarity of 10 doesnt exist though.
-amount of XP depends on how much catches you have done of a particular card.
card types depending on XP:
0-14999XP: paper [this is the type of card you get when you catch a plane for the first time] - this card is white, has a 2D-esque image of the airframe
15000-49999XP: silver, has a 3D aircraft in silver
>=50000XP: gold [top tier], has a gold aircraft in 3D.
XP on cards also act as a tie-breaker in battles.
ie: if 2 cards of the same type (say A330-300) are battled, the XP number on-card is considered and the higher XP wins.
XP per catch doesnt directly translate to rarity at all times.
ie: a 5000XP catch maybe for either a rare OR an ultra card depending on the rarity rating, but is given 5000XP anyway.[I have seen that happen]
the highest amount of XP you could ever gain per catch is 6000XP , [ie is definitely a 9.99 card]
you ideally want to have cards with a higher XP level, and you have to catch more of the same aircraft to do that.
also m8, I don’t have a B764, does anyone know somewhere near asia where I could catch one? [I don’t have enough in game coins rn]
Thanks @4R-ALR , good overview and I hadn’t noticed that about the two different rarities being able to equate to the same XP.
If I remembered to check, I’d be able to figure this out but I keep forgetting before I do my first scan of the day - does the extra 1500 XP you get contribute towards that models total XP count or only towards your personal player level?
With regards to a B764 - I live near Manchester Airport, UK so I’m lucky enough to get a few of those. Checked the map and nowhere in Asia appears to be a hotspot, however that seems a bit unlikely. If I ever see any with an arrival destination of Asia I’ll ping you a DM (if I can figure this platform out)
the extra 1500XP only gets counted for the personal total. by my knowledge, it doesn’t add up to the card’s XP.
I’m also relatively new here, and this is the forum I mostly engage in.

How do you get Glow cards? I thought you got them when you reached Gold, but I got a Glow card with paper quality
I think it’s completely random.
completely random and you never know which will be the glow.
but to note(and I learned this the hard way), you can’t catch the same flight twice at once(by using a catch again) and (say) get a 2X glow.
also doesn’t depend on your card’s tier.
both my legacy 600 and E190 were glow on first catch.

stratotankers(KC-135s) aren’t that rare I think.(even though I don’t have one yet).
SC shows a rarity of about 5.5 or something and are “scarce”.
