Southwest 737 MAX 8 going to Victorville. Departs Orlando, levels off at 2,000 and enters the pattern. Lands shortly after takeoff.

Thats not good.

Edit: It appears the aircraft had Ann engine failure shortly after departure.

  • Just a Regular Flight Training Test featuring Thomas Cook Airlines Airbus A321. The weather is beautiful and sunny out here, and a little crosswind to use in runway 24.

I just listened to the LiveATC archive and their right engine failed right after they took off. If you look at today’s 1830-1900z archive for KMCO, you’ll hear takeoff at about 16:30, then the emergency declared at 17:30 in the clip
