It’s still not possible. It’s only got a range of 525 miles. Even with spare fuel tanks it wouldn’t be able to make 9,264km (5,756.3mi). It would also be way past MTOW.

They used a 747-400 on the Pyongyang to Beijing flight


That’s the Chinese presidential aircraft. Air China only uses the 748, not 744.
