not really. Boeing can produce a 737 in nine days and all models need to be tested and passed through safety inspections before dispatch
It’s a glitch. Some aircrafts’ positions arent accurately tracked until they’re a couple hundred feet off the ground. Aircraft departing Newark Liberty Int’l don’t reach this trackable point until they are over Linden Airport and FR24 assumes the plane departed from there.
The continental 737 probably had the same registration as a new aircraft.
