Flightradar24 Findings [Part 6]

Yeah, I don’t see this aircraft being salvageable, she’s a total lose 100%

Hopefully everyone is OK. The crash looks really devastating.

Agreed, the left door is open so there’s hope that they made it out alive

Also other pictures show that the fire is out and the front of the aircraft isn’t too damaged so there’s something to go around

UPDATE:

Miami has reopened with only Runways 9 and 8L in use, 8R and 12 remain closed as the accident occurred in the area

Not a surprise. The plane was on fire, nose gear collapsed and overran at like 110 ish kts.
I also found a new video and the landing was really unstable. They floated like half way across the runway and the main landing gears were never touching the runway until the very end; just the nose wheel.

IMO, they really should have aborted the landing and went around..

Yup according to Flightradar, they were at still 25ft when they flew past the touchdown zone

I’m pretty sure at that point, it’s a go around and the speed was also dangerously too high

On a side note, 5 deaths have been confirmed and 5 have been sent to the hospital with 3 in critical condition (likely motorists on the road that collided with the aircraft)

Looked like a repeat of Southwest 1455

Pretty sure they’re fine. Their employment on the other hand is finished

It’s reported that the crew got out, 5 dead in cars while they were crossing the highway

Oh yeah, If the Southwest 1455 pilots were fired, these guys are 100% getting the same treatment

Side note: Says, “Correct Information,” at the bottom of the box. I’m no expert, pilot, accident investigator/member of the NTSB, FAA, or even student pilot, THOUGH I’m not entirely sure this is fact-checked/I can probably write-in right now that it is active.

Isnt that the Northern Pacific plane?

You do have to prove that it really happened by showing sources and evidence and that’s what I did hopefully it gets updated

So, you read the accident report and read what the insurance company said, @Itslambo ?
