This is Petrobras offshore transportation operation for the pre-salt fields, providing helicopter transport to offshore platforms and FPSOs. The main bases for these helicopters are Maricá, Jacarepaguá, and Cabo Frio. The operators providing these services include Omni Táxi Aéreo, Líder Aviação, Bristow Group, and CHC Helicopter. Jacarepaguá Airport is one of Brazil’s largest hubs for business aviation and offshore helicopter operations. Macaé Airport has historically been the main support hub for operations in the Campos Basin. Cabo Frio Airport is another strategic base for transporting personnel to offshore platforms.

It seems like O’Hare was a mess earlier with storms. Minneapolis got quite a few diversions.

Most of the storms were north. Some came down towards midway, but the furthest they got was just north.
